Strasbourg's ARFITEC Forum is a highlight in Franco-Argentine cooperation in engineer training. All the stakeholders will be meeting for the first time in France, in Strasbourg, the seat of many important European institutions, from 23 to 27 November 2011.

The first graduates from Insa Strasbourg's work-study course in energy and HVAC engineering received their degrees on 24 June 2011. The programme was designed and run by the ITTI (Institut des techniques d’ingénieur de l’industrie d’alsace) - the regional organisation responsible for organising engineering work-study courses - Insa Strasbourg, which handled the teaching side, and a number of local companies working in the sector.

Axilum Robotics is a young company with 6 cofounders, 3 of whom are researchers, 2 robotics engineers and a doctor. The company's aim is to develop and launch a groundbreaking prototype robotic assistant for use in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for the treatment of drug-resistant major depression and auditory hallucinations of schizophrenia.

A decisive step towards the joint recognition of degrees - 2011

At the start of the new 2011/2012 academic year, Insa Strasbourg will be introducing its new double degree in electrical engineering, in partnership with the University of Uberlandia in Brazil. Successful students will hold a double degree, recognised in both countries.
