Research units
Research activities take place in the following units:
AMUP
Research in the architecture field is conducted within the AMUP (Architecture, morphology/urban morphogenesis and the project A 7309 ) by a joint ENSAS-INSA team.
Institut Charles Sadron
Materials research takes place largely within the Institut Charles Sadron (specific CNRS unit [ICS UPR22]).
ICUBE
ICUBE laboratory UMR 7357 (University of Strasbourg, National School for Water and Environmental Engineering in Strasbourg (ENGEES), INSA Strasbourg, National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS)
This laboratory was created in 2013 to accommodate all the research activities in the fields of engineering science, computer science and imaging on the Strasbourg site. Research activities of teacher-researchers from INSA take place in 9 teams out of the 16 teams that make up ICube :
- Data science and knowledge
- Control, vision and robotics
- Remote sensing, radiometry and optical imaging
- Materials for photovoltaic and electronic devices
- Heterogeneous systems and microsystems
- Photonics instrumentation and processes
- Fluid mechanics
- Civil engineering and energetics
- Design, information systems and inventive processes
Other research units
- The Laboratory of Education Sciences and Communication (LISEC)
- The IPGS (Strasbourg Institute of Earth Physics, a joint CNRS/University of Strasbourg research unit), in the Global Dynamics and Active Deformation team
- The Bureau of Theoretical and Applied Economics (BETA UMR 7522)
- The 1347 HuManiS (Humans and Management in Society) laboratory at the University of Strasbourg, School of Management
