Masters at Insa Strasbourg

Insa Strasbourg offers a number of masters degree courses, some of which are managed directly by Insa and others which are run in partnership with other universities and schools

What is a Masters degree?

A Masters research degree program provides students with the opportunity to undertake in-depth research in a specific area, before possibly leading on to doctoral studies. The Masters also brings students up to the level required for agrégation (the highest-level competitive examination for teaching in France).

The school's professional Masters programmes offer high level training in a specific skills area. They are designed for students interested in expanding their choice of career options

Masters in social sciences - major: urban planning and development 

Speciality: architecture, structures and urban projects

 Masters in partnership with Ensas

Research units involved at INSA Strasbourg: Amup and Page/Map.

This 2nd-year Masters degree course offers a research and career-oriented syllabus in architecture, urban structures and urban development

It is open to qualified architects and engineers and graduates who have already completed a one-year Masters degree, with priority for the following specialities: geography, urban development, planning, sociology, economy, topographical surveying, history, civil engineering, law and the environment.

Masters in health science and technology - major: materials

Speciality surface engineering

Masters in conjunction with UHA, UDS (UFR physics, chemistry faculty, ECPM) 

Insa Strasbourg research unit: design engineering laboratory

The surface engineering specialty is designed for engineers working in materials and has a special focus on surface interfaces and thin films.

Masters in information systems

Specialty: geomatics

Research unit : Page MA


The Master is offered in conjunction with ENSG, ESGT and ESTP .
